Alpine is a terrible venue!
The tailgating and partying all day was the highlight of the day. Finally got a chance to see The Music of Queen, which I have always wanted to experience, and managed to secure tickets. Our group was very excited as most of us had never witnessed it before.
We had a busload, and a large part of our group had never seen him perform. However, it was wall to wall people due to what I believe was overbooking. It was impossible to move once we entered the venue. I thought things would improve, but they never did. Pushing and fighting broke out among the crowd. My husband and I, along with a significant portion of our group, felt uneasy and unsafe, prompting our departure. Many others we spoke to outside had the same experience.
This was the worst concert experience I have ever had, despite attending numerous shows.
